Adoption of Chemmancherry

The first major community service project of the club was the adoption of Chemmancherry village on the Old Mahabalipuram Road and supply of a drinking water system for the village on August 15, 2005. Subsequently the club had also constructed a noon meal centre for the children of the village school in 1988-89 and was also conducting a vocational training centre for training ladies/girls of the village in tailoring.
